St. John’s Provides Opportunities!
Our mission statement says that we provide living opportunities within nurturing environments of hope, dignity, and love. We strive to provide those opportunities for those entrusted to care, but we also strive to provide those same opportunities to those who work with us. Whether you are a high school student looking to a future college education or an employee who wishes to improve yourself through furthering your education, we can help you achieve your goals.
The Career Ladder Program
St. John’s United wishes to encourage people of all ages to further their education and prosper in their careers. We especially encourage people to further themselves in areas that benefit the long-term care industry. In an effort to assist our employees financially, we have established a career ladder.
Employees at St. John’s become eligible to further their education after one year of employment. Certified Nursing Assistant qualify for loans to obtain L.P.N. training, and L.P.N.s are eligible for loans for R.N. training. Employees must meet specific criteria.
St. John’s is willing to assist eligible employees to repay debt incurred in obtaining education as an L.P.N. or R.N. L.P.N.s are eligible for up to $3,000 in loan repayment and R.N.s are eligible for up to $4,000. Employees must meet specific criteria.
