July 2 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free

Welcome to the 2026 St. John’s United Summer Concert Series!

Why does the St. John’s Foundation provide a free concert series?

  • Concerts bring joy to our residents, their families and our staff.
  • Concerts allow our residents to welcome you to their home and into the life of our dynamic campus.
  • Concerts provide an occasion for interaction and sharing across the generations.
  • Best of all, they are a lot of fun and make our community a great place.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all attendees, sponsors, volunteers and friends for your participation and support in making the Concert Series a summer tradition for 28 years for the surrounding areas and community of Billings!

JK & the Northern Lights

Opener: Billings Community Band
Billings Westend Campus

JK and the Northern Lights is a “Little Big Band” that swings hard and will get you on your feet swinging right along with them. Boasting some of the finest players and singers around, these cats will waste no time getting you “In the Mood” for an evening of joyful celebration. Born of a friendship between airmen who met in a combat zone, this veteran-led band is made up of pros who have played and sang everywhere from Hollywood to NYC, Cuba to Paris, and even Iraq with some of the biggest names on the planet – the likes of Aretha Franklin and Michael Buble – as well as in the most intimate of stings where one can savor every nuance of the music. Beyond simply playing the music, members of this band have composed and arranged for a wide variety of artist from the Boston Pops to Stevie Wonder to…JK and the Northern Lights! Get your dancin’ shoes and get ready to tear it up!

OPENER: Billings Community Band
The Billings Community Band is a vibrant, all-volunteer ensemble made up of musicians from across the Billings community—music teachers, students, and lifelong players ranging from high school age to their 80s and 90s. United by a shared love of music, this dynamic group brings energy, experience, and heart to every performance.
