Home Health vs Home Care
Understanding the Differences
Home Health:
- A benefit covered by Medicare and most private insurance.
- Provides short term skilled nursing and therapy services in the comfort of your own home.
- Care can be provided in your home, in assisted living or independent living communities within Yellowstone County.
Home Care:
- A private-pay, non-skilled support service you can choose to bring into your home to help with house-keeping, errands and personal care.
